Le Riad Mosaic est superbe ! Niché dans une petite rue au calme avec un cadre splendide ! Nous avons été accueilli par Sofian très gentillement . La chambre très luxueuse, un petit déjeuner très copieux et une à vous couper le souffle ! Sans hésitation, the place to be in Chefchaouen !

The building is an old home in the medina that has been converted and is quite twisty. There are two terraces, one on top of the building and the glassed in one in the photos, both of which were great to just sit and relax. We had the junior suite with mountain view. It had a lovely view down over the town and surrounding hills, and got good light, breezes and airflow. The room took up an entire floor of the old building (it was not biggest room we had but definitely big enough for us and excess luggage). It had a queen bed and two singles, with one bathroom and a lounge area. The bathroom had concrete, built-in shower and basin. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Little bit of noise with a minor pathway beside it but that’s the case with most places in Chefchaouene. Steep winding stairs like a lot of places in Morocco. It’s at the top of the hill and hard to find so I’d suggest on arrival, get in touch with the staff at the riad to help you find it and get your luggage there. We had a useless transfer person (not associated with Riad Mosaic) who didn’t help us much and it was very hot dragging suitcases all the way up (we got some local boys to help and it was money well spent). The best place for a driver to leave you is at Parking Place outa Al hamam – Bar El Ain is quite far away so insist they take you to Al haman (ours refused). The staff were also very helpful in organising with our transfer when we left – I’d booked to be picked up at Mosaic, but they hadn’t turned up and I had no reception on my phone. The guys at Mosaic rang the number to find out what was happening, helped us down with our bags to a parking area, found our driver and waved us off.
