Great pub but hotel not so nice. Friendly staff but all feeds rather shabby. Towels may have been white once and were rather old. Single glazed windows full of condensation. Menu not appealing

Went for Sunday lunch with friends while visiting Norwich recently. This was one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve ever had at age 55. Ordered the three meat roast. A generous roast chicken breast, melt in the mouth roast pork and a delicious piece of beef. These people really care about service and the food they serve and clearly promote high quality local produce. Everything on the plate was generous, high quality, tasty, cooked to perfection and local. I will be back like a shot next time I’m in Norwich.

Nice, cosy and warm rooms with good amenities including coffee, tea, fridge, continental breakfast and Netflix. The pub itself is excellent with great selection of beers, ciders, wines and spirits and they also do great food as well. The Sunday roast is a must do if you stay on the weekend. There are plenty of Gluten free options for drinks and food. The Rosebery is situated within a 25 minute walk to the city and all the tourist attractions Norwich has to offer. There are also 3 supermarkets within a short walk from the pub if you need supplies to make your trip more comfortable. There are also other eateries and takeaways close by so there are options for the days the pub doesn’t have the kitchen open including a very nice fish and chip shop. I would highly recommend the Rosebery for anyone looking for a cost effect, fun and comfortable place to stay. The staff have plenty of local knowledge and are super friendly and approachable so will be able to help with any queries you might have to help make your stay more enjoyable.

Everything went smoothly from booking through check in to checking out. Our room was a large double with big bathroom and spotlessly clean (towels etc changed daily). The decor was quirky and a bit shabby chic but that added to the relaxed feel of this property. Down in the pub everyone was very friendly and if you are into pub quizzes then the packed Tuesday night will be right up your street! There is a visiting gastro-pub kitchen on some nights too. The pub is very conveniently located for a walk or bus into the city centre and the street is quiet. There is a basic hamper breakfast and juice provided and coffee pods replenished daily. I always like to leave suggestions and mine would be : maybe add a date to the milk/juice so guests know which to use first and some fruit in the hamper would be good. Consider linking up with the Blue Cafe just around the corner for breakfast offers or discounts for guests - that has full hot breakfast menu for those that prefer also very friendly- could be good for both small businesses! Thank you to everyone- we hope to be back next year!

The pub has a good selection of beer and is well attended. It is all hard surfaces so gets very noisy. The streets are narrow near here and parking is tricky though they do reserve their own car park for the b and b customers. Catering is done by a third party blue so you may get two different charges. Nothing wrong with this pub and ideal if within walking distance

We stayed here last night after visiting family in Norwich for a pre Christmas meal. We received a lovely welcome from the landlord of the Lord Rosebery who showed us to our room. The room which overlooked the street was large with a lovely sleigh bed, television, tea facilities , and a coffee machine no less. Plenty of fresh milk in a fridge in the room, so much nicer than the awful little pots you so often find. A breakfast pack of fresh orange, cereal and croissant to eat at our leisure. Oh, and a bath, a luxury after only having a shower at home. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk into Norwich centre but there is parking at the pub for guests staying. We stayed in room 1 but the other 3 rooms look just as nice. Would I recommend staying here.. YES.

Very pleasant, well appointed room, above a trendy pub in a quiet side street. Continental breakfast provided in the room which includes a fridge. Separate entrance to come and go. Lovely restaurant in the pub from (Blues NR3) Wednesday through Sunday, great food. Nothing much open on Mondays and Tuesdays in the area. About 30 min walk into Norwich. Great value for money. Found a lovely breakfast and pizza cafe a few minutes walk away (Out of the Blue).

We have just returned from a one night stay, wish we had booked for longer! The room was clean and comfortable with the added bonus of two chairs and a great shower. The staff were very friendly, my husband was particularly impressed with the barman who was able to discuss all of the beers on tap and provide excellent recommendations. However the icing on the cake has to be the food, we expected standard pub grub and got restaurant quality! We were amazed to find delicacies such as Jerusalem Artichoke and my absolute favourite Bouillabaisse on the menu. We hope to return as soon as possible!!

Great find, we come to Norwich regularly following football so we have stayed in various types of accomadation. On arrival very friendly greeting, shown to our room and was surprised, very art novo!. Good touch breakfast hamper, delicious and not necessary to have for breakfast. It is a walk to the centre of Norwich but walk down Magdalen Street 20minutes and various little cafes for breakfast. The rooms are above the pub but as long as you are aware could be noisy in the garden on a summer evening, no problem for us. Our only slight regret we couldn't check out the pub itself as we had previous commitments. We will definitely be back. It's a little gem. Thank you

We stayed here for 2 nights in November and felt the accommodation offered great value for money. Located a short drive from Norwich centre, there is a small car park to the rear of the pub for B&B guests. It is quite tight so be careful if you have a large vehicle. The bed was comfortable and great shower. We dined in the pub on our 1st night and would recommend booking as clearly a popular place. Food was much better than standard pub grub - generous portion and reasonably priced. Shame that they do not offer breakfast in the morning, there is a small hamper provided containing croissants, jam and small boxes of cereal with fresh milk, fruit juice and yoghurts in fridge. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others if to stay or eat.
