  • Guest：Tina and the staff at the Blue Orchid are friendly and accommodating; the grounds are lovely; and the prices are great. This is not Club Med or Sandals, so don't expect chair-side cocktail service on a private beach. However, if you just need a reasonably priced base of operations that's convenient to the airport, then the Blue Orchid is all you need. Rooms are spare but comfortable and spotless (and air conditioned!) If you want to venture out, you can ask Clive or Tina to set up tours and shopping excursions and they'll be happy to oblige. I felt safe and welcome for the duration of my stay, and would definitely stay there again.
  • Guest：Every time I come back to Jamaica I stay at The Blue Orchid. It's small and quaint with an amazing staff and great food. The location is ideal to get to different places easily and quickly. I'm now a regular;-)
  • Guest：We were made to feel very welcome during our weeks stay. The breakfast was lovely and rooms comfortable. Reception could not do enough for us including supply us with ice and a kettle, extra sheets etc. The kids absolutely loved the pool and played for hours. Would definitely return!
  • Guest：Lovely B and B which is virtually across the street from the airport. They offer airport shuttle for US$10 per trip. We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of Februrary. On arrival, was met by a friendly and courteous member of staff. We were able to leave our luggage until our room was ready. The gardens, verandahs, room, bathroom and all areas of the B and B was very clean and all the staff we met were very courteous and friendly. There are no lifts but it's just 1 flight of stairs, so not really bad with your luggage. Our room had a door which led to the expansive shared verandah where you can sit and just admire the view/watch the planes. There is a pool which was open but we did not use it. The room rate came with a continental breakfast which was quite filling or you could opt for a Jamaican/American breakfast at an additional cost. You can also purchase other cooked meals. Unable to comment as we did not have eat dinner there. The hotel is on a little incline but easy to walk up and down. You can get a local transport on the main road which is just 5-10 minutes walk from the B and B. It cost between J$150-200 into Montego Bay Square. Not far from the hotel is the Harmony Beach Park which is free. Loved our stay and would not hesitate to stay again.
