Amazing Apartment
We had such an amazing time at the Chalet. It was perfect for our family of 4. Even had a parking spot for our car. Location is very ideal to Interlaken and other surrounding areas. View was so beautiful to come back to after a day of sightseeing. Management was very responsive to all our questions and requests.

The apartments are in a perfect place with lake access, nice dining, great ferry and bus connections which are right outside the door. Quieter than the city and provides a great way to unwind and relax and head into town when you need to. The apartment itself is very comfortable and stocked with games and books if that is of interest. Store next door provides ample options for home cooking. Don’t touch the ATM with a barge pole. Paid almost 50 usd in fees without realizing it. Last bus from town is at 9, so plan accordingly, otherwise cab can be over 100 bucks. Loved the place, would stay again.

Lake Lodge Chalet Apartments heeft in 8 gelijkwaardige gebouwen verschillende appartementen. Verder wonen er locals in de gebouwen of heeft men het als 2e huis. Wij waren laat met boeken, hadden niet zoveel keus meer ondanks dat we schrokken van de prijs voor 11 dagen. Ben al vaker in Zwitserland geweest en weet dat het een duur land is maar vond het nu wel extreem ook qua boodschappen. Boven de prijs kwam ook nog CHF 200 schoonmaakkosten en CHF 70 voor 4 badlakens en 4 handdoeken. Ook moet je rekening houden met een borg van CHF 700. Ook de voorwaarden qua wateroverlast was apart. Na info zei men dat het vaak gebeurde dat de hele ruimte nat is en er dan problemen met de vloerverwarming is. Het is dat ik nog een keer naar dit gebied wilde en de bergen in als het nog kan met mijn copd. Qua gezondheid minimaal een lift en inloopdouche nodig had en het een mooie uitvalbasis was. Daarom kozen we nu voor Appartement Johansson op de 1e etage. Ze hebben ook een hostel en daar is de receptie. We werden vriendelijk geholpen en gingen mee naar het appartement om het te laten zien. Het was fijn dat je de auto in de afgesloten garage onder het gebouw kan parkeren. Het appartement zag er ruim en schoon uit. Wat ons wel tegen viel was dat we erg veel IKEA spul tegenkwamen. Is niets mis mee maar wel als je zoveel moet betalen. De 2 banken die er waren zakte behoorlijk door. Ik kon er niet uitkomen. Voor een paar dagen te doen maar ik heb 11 dagen op de eetkamerstoel gezeten bij een oubollige eettafel. Er zijn 2 slaapkamers. 1 met een 2 persoons bed en een ruime badkamer met douche in bad en een kamer met 2 1 persoon bedden. Op de gang was een kleine badkamer waar een toilet, wastafel, was en droogmachine en daarnaast de douche met een douchegordijn. Ik kan me wel voorstellen dat er water problemen kunnen zijn met douchen. Hier had men beter een douchecabine kunnen plaatsen of een douchebak 90x90 met opstaand randje. Nu is het gelijk met de vloer. Bij de andere badkamer hebben we zelf het kapotte gordijn omgedraaid zodat er geen water op de vloer kwam. Er waren 2 balkons. Een ruime overdekte bij de huiskamer met uitzicht op de andere gebouwen en bergen. Bij de slaapkamers was er een klein overdekt balkon. Hier keek je uit op de enige doorgaande weg van het dorp voor de locals, gasten en de bus. De weg gaat omhoog en kon nog wel eens lawaaierig zijn, soms hoor je de mensen/toeristen praten. Schuin aan de overkant is een school, wat om ca 7.15 uur te horen was Ondanks alles hebben we ons prima vermaakt. De hoogte tot 2400 meter gaf gelukkig weinig problemen dus genoten maar voor dit geld zou ik niet meer Appartement Johansson nemen.

Grand appartement superbement bien placé juste au bord du lac de Brienz. 3 chambres à coucher de 2 lits chacune. Agencement minimum, mais Wi-Fi, TV, cuisine avec frigo, cafetière Nespresso, toaster. Belle terrasse. Une seule toilette (peu commode si on est 6), 1 salle bain avec baignoire-douche.

Good sized condo for two adults and two kids...conveniently located for easy commute to interlaken, lauterbrunen, grindelwald etc.
Condo in good condition and overall good space however they have weird bathroom conditions....a. the shower is not properly covered by shower curtain and b. They have heated flooring...so under no condition water shouldnt come out....
Its very inconvinient way of taking a shower
But besides that apartment was very good

We spent a week in this apartment. Two adults and two children. Check in took a while since nobody was present when we arrived. The person demanded that we should make a deposit of 700 Swiss Franc in cash (almost equivalent to 700 Euros). She had some attitude when we said we weren’t informed about it. She insisted that we had received the information and we saw that we received a mail two hours prior to our arrival (We spent two days driving to Switzerland…). We couldn’t make a deposit by credit card, so we had to leave a passport. We really suggest that a guest is able to make a deposit by credit card in the future. Check out was smooth. Besides from this little argument the staff including her, was very friendly. The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a big living room. Kitchen was well equipped but we had to ask for for some missing items in order to make dinner. The TV didn’t work. And we mentioned that twice. They weren’t able to make the TV work the entire week. The Wi-Fi is decent but it’s lagging now and then. We had a washing machine and dryer, which was nice. What the apartment really needs is an air condition. The apartment gets extremely humid. The hotel offers a free parking spot in the garage below the building. The area Iseltwald is really cosy and beautiful. It’s within 13 minutes of driving from Interlaken, from where you can visit all highlights in the area. The bottom line is that it’s an ok apartment overall. We would not hesitate to stay there another time, but the flaws need to be addressed.
