Nous avons passé trois nuits au Sigiri Lion Lodge fin janvier et avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. L'établissement est idéalement situé pour visiter Sigiriya à pied et les alentours (arrêt de bus juste devant). Le couple de propriétaires s'est montré très accueillant, toujours aimable, souriant et serviable. Notre chambre était plut?t spacieuse et très propre. Les extérieurs étaient également très agréables. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit-déjeuner, très copieux et différent chaque matin. Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment excellent et je ne manquerai pas de revenir dans cet établissement lors d'un prochain séjour.
Das Hotel/Guesthouse liegt in super Lage in der N?he des Lion's Rock (ca 2 km) . Wir haben 2 N?chte hier verbracht und es nicht bereut. Das Preis-Leistungsverh?ltnis war einfach unschlagbar. Im Preis war bei uns ein sehr leckeres Frühstück mit Omelette, Obst, Toast, Rotti etc inbegriffen. Das Zimmer war sauber. Es gab Moskitonetze für die Betten. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war super (deutlich besser als in fast allen Unterkünften, in denen wir w?hrend unseres Urlaubs übernachtet haben). Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und spricht sehr gut Englisch.
Our stay at Sigiri Lion Lodge was perfect. We were greeted by the friendly and smiley host Aji, who looked after us during our visit. A fantastic breakfast spread served right outside our room on the balcony awaited our early morning rise, before our trek up to Sigiriya. Aji also provided useful local advice on other short walks. The accommodation is very clean and tidy, and a short walk to the village centre. You can catch a bus or tuk-tuk at the gate for onward journeys. Thank you Aji for an enjoyable stay! Ben + Sam
This is an excellent place to stay when visiting sigiriya! We got spacious rooms, with a much needed air condition. Breakfast was served outside of each room, and it was amazing. Fruit, bread, fresh juice, pancakes, omelets, and local snacks. Tea or coffee. Beware of the monkeys, they came quickly when we left the table! They made pancakes without fillings on our request (kids preferred sugar over coconut), and could also make a late breakfast for us after we had been to Lion Rock. We didn’t book in advance, but went to check out the rooms and got a good price. The owners were happy with our walk in, as the fee they have to pay to booking is quite high. The owners are very nice and so helpful, they could arrange everything. When we needed forks for our take away, they showed us the kitchen and said that everything was at our disposal. They also let our driver stay for free! There are several restaurants and small stores close just outside the hotel. “Town” is about five minutes walk, bring a torch or use the light on your phone if walking in the dark.

What a wonderful stay, mostly due to Ajith and Ramya and their team. Ajith would greet you with the biggest, most genuine smile, and is extremely helpful!!! (He even drove us to Pidurangala for sunrise) Rooms are comfortable and spotless. Can not recommend Lion Lodge enough.
