Hemos estado una semana tres adultos y un ni?o de 12 a?os en la Casa de Campo que este a?o ofrece este alojamiento como novedad y ha sido un regalo en todos los sentidos. La casa reúne todas las condiciones para una estancia de lujo, con todo detalle en equipamiento y una decoración que la hace acogedora de modo muy especial. La atención de los anfitriones no puede ser más exquisita. Nos recibieron con una serie de productos para una sabrosa cena y un delicioso desayuno. Las vistas al atardecer mientras uno cena tras un ba?o en el jacuzzi es lo más para unas vacaciones de ensue?o. El entorno es asimismo un peque?o paraíso, parado en el tiempo, de naturaleza, pueblos medievales y silencio. Pero a la vez estás muy cerca de todos los sitios importantes para ver en la zona. Tomas y Kerry se preocupan de que tengas las mejores recomendaciones y consejos para restaurantes y sitios a visitar. Son muy simpáticos, cercanos y profesionales. Todas estas cosas hace que uno quiera volver y hablar a todo el mundo de este sitio. Gracias!
We booked Beaux Reves pre-covid and finally, after all the lockdowns, we got to go in July 2022 (2 adults & 2 young teenage children). Kerry & Tomas kindly kept our booking slot open throughout the covid period, which is says a lot about how this couple run their business and treat their guests. The villa is very clean (credit to their cleaner/s), comfortable, very well maintained and based in a beautiful and peaceful location. Kerry gave us a full brief on the area and the best places to visit and eat during our stay but then left us alone to enjoy our holiday. We would highly recommend this villa, it had the pool to keep the kids entertained, a pub/restaurant within 5-10mins walking distance to keep me entertained and plenty of sights within a max 30min drive. Tip: DO NOT BE LATE for the Lascaux iv cave tour if you have booked a British guide, we arrived 15 mins late (I know...our fault) and we had to join the next French tour which was v frustrating for a non-french speaker. Tip: Canoe the Dordogne (you can be late for this...), we chose Canoe Loisirs for canoe hire, the 3 hour trip from Vitrac to Beynac took 4-5 hours with stops. You can pull up your canoe on the jetty and visit La Roque Gageac, most people missed this and sat on the bank opposite. Tip: When walking around Sarlat, get yourself off the main Rue de la Republique and check out the side streets for a more interesting and less busy time.
