I cannot rate this place highly enough! From arrival to departure the whole holiday was gorgeous. The building and our apartment (we stayed in Charles Baudelaire room!) was so pretty and stylish, with lovely details and furniture. The bed was super comfy and kitchenette perfect for cooking - though we mainly ate out at the BILLIONS of restaurants and cafes in Honfleur! Location was also brilliant, you could come in the garden entrance (the garden was lush and felt so secluded and peaceful!)- which overlooked the public park, with the sea behind that, or you could come in the street side entrance, which led you immediately onto a cobbled pretty side road with shops cafes and restaurants further up going into the harbour itself! Apartment was cleaned daily which was a bonus, and you can order breakfast to your room (continental). We had shuttered windows and curtains which were great for blocking out light for sleeping, and when the windows were closed it was silent. I was worried about noise at night, but we slept with the windows open as there was very little noise past 10pm (and I’m a light sleeper!) - and you can always close the windows and have the fan on instead. Valerie and Sucro who run the place were brilliant and so friendly. I can’t rate Valerie’s cakes highly enough- which she bakes daily. We also enjoyed the little orangery in the garden where you can sit and chill out and have coffee/tea or sunbathe on the loungers up there! All in all, we thought it was one of the best places we’ve stayed, they’ve thought of everything, and really good value for money. We WILL BE BACK!

A beautiful set of apartments in a wonderfully restored old building in the heart of Honfleur. It was the attention to detail that made it so special - lots of little touches that really set it apart. Ideal location for exploring the area too, and plenty of restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner within easy walking distance.

Nous avons séjourné pour la dernière nuit de notre road-trip dans cet établissement exceptionnel et il a été notre coup de coeur estival! Rien n'est laissé au hasard dans cette maison: la propreté est irréprochable, l'accueil est très chaleureux, les h?tes son attentionnés, souriants, à l'écoute; la chambre en elle-même est une pépite, tout le charme que l'on aime, exactement nos go?ts! Tout était parfait et depuis notre départ nous n'avons qu'une envie, y retourner. Mention spéciale pour le jardin qui est à lui seul un havre de paix. Surtout ne changez rien et prenez soin de vous et de ce batiment qui a une si belle ame!

This was our first visit to Honfleur, which is an amazing place, but our stay at this beautiful B and B was the icing on the cake. We stayed for 2 nights at the start of a little road trip around France and absolutely loved it. The location (up a little street just away from the harbour) is perfect and although you can’t park on site, there is a free car park 5 minutes walk away. The house itself is beautiful - so much care and attention has been taken with all the furnishings and decor. It’s all immaculately clean, welcoming and very luxurious. Our apartment was absolutely lovely and had windows opening onto the street (once closed, you can’t hear any street noise and I’m a light sleeper!). We loved watching the world go by from this vantage point! The bed was super comfortable with beautiful linen, the little kitchen area perfect (although we did eat out most of the time as there are sooo many amazing restaurants) and the bathroom beautiful with a lovely free standing bath to relax in. Valerie (the lovely housekeeper), met us on arrival and was so welcoming and friendly. Valerie is a wonderful character and along with making sure her house is perfect at all times for her guests, also makes the most delicious cakes, which are served in the beautiful lounge every afternoon (best lemon cake ever!). We loved our stay so much, we came back a week later to stay one more night on our way back to the UK as we were lucky enough that they’d had a cancellation the day before! The owner, whom we met in the mornings, is also a delight and so friendly and professional. A true gem in a beautiful place that we can’t wait to return to. Thank you to Valerie and all the staff at La Petite Folie for such a memorable experience.

Un petit nid douillet magnifique idéalement situé - La maison est située à 2 pas du centre dans une maison de charme toute rénovée avec go?t. Un parking gratuit est tout proche. Prestation de très belle qualité avec un accueil très chaleureux. Le jardin est magnifique et invite à la paresse. Petit plus pour le petit déjeuner servi en chambre dans un panier! Nous recommandons

Tout était SUPER. Tout d’abord l’accueil est chaleureux, les lieux sont magnifiques avec une décoration soignée. La chambre est très agréable avec vue sur le jardin, literie de qualité, la salle de bain est moderne et belle. Nous avions une chambre avec un coin cuisine séparée, cuisine super bien équipée. Le must c’est livraison du petit déjeuner excellent en. Chambre et Tea Time à 16h!!

This B&B was amazing! The location was wonderful, located on a charming cobblestone street next to shops and restaurants, and within easy walking distance to the main part of town. We stayed in a Superior Apartment that was on the 2nd floor. We were 3 adults and there was plenty of space! The apartment was meticulously clean, and the decor was so charming! The bathroom was large, clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure. We had a beautiful view of the garden out of our window. There was a charming tea room located in the garden where you could sit and relax. Free parking was an easy 5 minute walk. We opted not to do the breakfast as we wanted to explore different parts of the town during our stay, but it smelled amazing and the dining room was lovely! The hosts were very helpful. I would recommend La Petite Folie to anyone staying in Honfleur!

Gros coup de coeur ! l'endroit est charmant et on s'y sent immédiatement bien. Très bien situé et avec tout le confort que l'on peut attendre. Tout était parfait ! J'ai hésité à mettre un commentaire car c'est un endroit que 'on aimerait garder secret pour y revenir encore et encore ;) Et nous avons apprécié également les massages de Nadège, d'une grande bienveillance.

Tout était parfait : situation en plein centre de Honfleur, accueil chaleureux et au petit soin, appartement à la hauteur de la desciption (voire mieux), décoration soignée, literie très confortable, calme absolu (nous donnions c?té jardin). Merci pour tout ! Nous reviendrons c'est s?r.

Le Petit Folie is located near the center of Honfleur and within easy walking distance of the harbor, restaurants, and shops. The inn uses a large public parking lot located a few blocks away. The inn is nicely decorated and offers a large common area with a beautiful private garden area for guests. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. We had a small kitchen area with a table. The bathroom and shower were modern and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
