    • Guest:Stayed here last weekend. We had to amend at room, twice spoke to amendment line and twice they got it wrong. Ended up speaking directly to the hotel. Plenty of parking on arrival. Reception was chaotic, the check in machines not working, stood in a queue for 40 minutes to get manually checked in. The two staff were overwhelmed. Only able to register for first night not the second! We stayed in room 150, omg the smell in the bathroom was awful, the door was kept shut at all times and windows open all the time even through the night. We used the mugs when making a hot drink, one of them had a faulty handle. I was holding the mug when handle came away and the mug with hot drink fell away. That was horrendous, these should be inspected by staff before leaving in rooms. On the second day, tried to book in for that day again. The system was still down, told us to try later, explained that we were going out to a show and wouldn't be back till around 7pm. Arrived back to chaos again, IT system still down. The new staff came across rude. They tried to tell myself and another person to give them our bank details on a piece of paper, so payment could be done later. None of it was being done privately. Both of us refused to write down bank details as we didn't feel this was secure enough. They asked us to come and see the manager later when on duty but myself and the other lady had things planned. After a lot of backwards and forwards the card machine then worked, so quickly paid my outstanding money. On leaving Sunday morning, we spoke to reception about the smell in the room and the broken mug falling from the handle. The staff didn't appear bothered, quite shocked by this as normally when we stay we have always good service. We won't be returning again.
    • Guest:I will start by saying the Premier inn was brilliant the staff very very helpful brought an iron to my room when I had realised I hadn't brought mine.when we got back late after a show we asked for more tea and sugar for the night and the lovely women on reception offered hot chocolate as well what a star well 5 stars to the hotel side,However the brewers fayre add on where do I start. I was told by the hotel staff it's best to book so I did ,I was told be ready for the queue fine what I wasn't ready for was the staff unhelpful short on answers short on food short on cleaning the tables,now I understand its a busy place it's open to the public that's fine so put on more staff . It's an all you can it so it explains empty bowls on the service hatch but keep them topped up it waited ten minutes for sausages. Waited for milk for my tea not topped up . We paid £21.98 was ut worth it ,yes it's all yiu can eat of course but the wait time is bad the staff morale looks zero ,oh and we had breakfast with santander at the same time ho ho ho no not really. Summing up hotel couldn't fault it ,breakfast if you are willing to wait for lots of things and sour face staff who should really ask for a refund from the charm school they went to,then this is OK.
    • Guest:Booked early check in but on arrival the computer systems were down and was told quite rudely that I could not check in early. Very disappointing surely there is a back up so that staff can allocate a room without relying on computer system. When we checked into our family room later on there was only enough mugs/glasses etc for 2 people. Have stayed here several times before but after this experience won’t be returning.
    • Guest:The hotel itself was good, the room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The food and the service in the Brewers Fayre restaurant in the evening was very poor, I've never had such a dry, overcooked burger but I was too hungry too complain and also the staff were so grumpy it just wasn't worth adding to their misery so I just ate it. The breakfast was terrible as well but at least the lady in charge was much happier and more helpful.
