Very quirky old thatched property. The staff and owners are extremely helpful and very genuine people The breakfast was excellent my daughter gluten and diary free at the moment was in her element they could cater for her. Alex really pulled out the stops to help us going beyond what we could expect when we were organising our trip to the station Extremely grateful for his help

The breakfast was absolutely lovely, fresh good quality produce. However our room was dated, bathroom was tiny and not inviting at all, with marked shower and tiles. Beds were uncomfortable and the pillows past their best, towels were thin and grey. Servicing of the rooms was quite poor. Outside the rooms the decor and sofas etc were lovely and everywhere was clean and tidy. Parking could be tricky as only a few spaces for quite a few rooms, some had to seek alternative parking. All staff friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed a three night stay at the Kersbrook. The house, location ,hosts were lovely, but unfortunately we were allocated a small attic room at the very top of a beautiful house. The room was small, very dated, and it seemed to be a neglected, forgotten room! The bathroom was very tired and dated and a little impractical, having a toilet, bath and hand held shower. The sink being in the bedroom area! I understand there being no installed shower as ceiling height would prevent this, but it was quite awkward to wash hair without spraying water everywhere! So maybe a shower rail and shower curtain would help? In the bedroom area a small window and so room was quite dark, the old, dated furniture did not lift the room at all. The bed was reasonably comfortable but no headboard, so banged head a few times. Only one plug socket one side of the bed, luckily we always take an extension lead with us when we are away ,so at least we could charge both our phones at the same time. The TV was small, and wall mounted just at bed height, so was not a comfortable watch plus the remote didn’t work very well. Again understand the positioning of it due to lack of space. The housekeeping , I feel, was almost non existent. The tea and coffee was replenished daily, and the pedal bin ( which didn’t work as a pedal bin, but had to lift lid by hand) was emptied daily but toiletries were not replaced, and yes, we hadn’t quite used all of it, but had been quite frugal with it being as there was only one small body wash between us. Sink wasn’t cleaned. Also no spare toilet roll left in bathroom. The main staircase was fine, but the staircase leading up to attic rooms was narrow so needed to be careful. The room, although small, has loads of potential to feel cosier and much more comfortable given the chance. It’s crying out for fresh paint, new decor and lots of TLC. The room I feel did not deliver value for money. To end on a positive note, cannot fault the breakfast, hosts ,location and friendliness, and we did have a lovely weekend.

Great Family Run Hotel
Very friendly welcome and we were in a room with its own access from the garden. We came here about the same time last year and enjoyed it so much, we returned this year. It is at the top of the hill above Holmbush car park, about half a mile from the centre of Lyme, but we enjoyed finding different routes into town.

This is a quirky guest house. Great staff give you a great welcome. Our room was a delight. This is a very old building so very much in keeping with it's character. Great breakfast. top class. Has car park up a narrow lane, alongside the house. It is a joy as they do not make you book a time to have breakfast as many hotels do today, you just turn up between 8.15am and 10.30am when you wake up. The bar in the evening is a joy. because they trust you.

My wife and I had an enjoyable 4 night stay here. The owners and staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had room 5 (a first floor double overlooking the garden) which was superb in the very hot weather as, although it faced west, a large shrub outside the window gave enough shade to prevent the room getting hot. Breakfasts were excellent with a good choice. The location is ideal: away from the busyness of the town centre but within 10minutes walk of the town, the beach and a number of good restaurants. The hotel car park is a definite plus as parking in Lyme Regis is limited (although one of the main - very large - car parks is only 100yds away).

Delightful & welcoming
Very friendly, both at check in and at breakfast. As I had a single room, it was lovely to be able to sit for a while in the gardens & residents lounge. Parking on site was a real bonus. The property is in a quiet street and only a 10 minute walk to the sea front

Had a fabulous 4 night stay at this wonderful Guest House. Really great views from the moment you walk out the front door. It is located at the top of the many hills that make up Lyme Regis. Cooked breakfast was a real treat, but there are a number of other options available. Both the owners were extremely friendly with great advice on where to go and what to do. Would highly recommend.

Quaint building, full of character with friendly hosts. Convenient to the amenities of Lyme Regis while being in a quiet location.
