This is the second time we stayed at Abbey Guest house and we be doing so again next year! Lovely friendly and welcome service from the staff, exceptional and affordable english mini fry up (at only ￡7 extra) and lovely comfy beds. Same room too.

Arrived exhausted after a sleepless red-eye transatlantic flight and nearly missing our early morning train due to the entire Underground system being on strike in London. Arriving zombie-like in Norwich, we then walked with our carry-on luggage to Abbey Guest House, only 500 meters distant, a 6-7 min. walk. Vivien (sp?), the very welcoming co-owner (originally from Malaysia) let us check in early so we could nap before dinner. Man, we needed that!! This B&B was perfect for us. Comfortable, modest but homey. Inexpensive, with the option of adding a typical breakfast. Very quiet, even though not far off a busy street. Vivien allowed us to leave our bags with her even though 2-3 hours after checkout so we could visit the American Air Museum & Library in Norwich before heading on to Horsham-St. Faith. Staying at Abbey Guest House was SO RESTORATIVE for us. So grateful for a perfect B&B to reboot ourselves after our chaotic first travel day. Thank you, Vivien and staff!!!

I stayed here for 3 nights in a single room and couldn’t be happier with my choice. The room was immaculately clean, with beautifully soft, pristine bed linen. Built-in air conditioning was a real blessing during the recent hot spell, and the bathroom/shower was spotless. The location is ideal—quiet at night, yet only a short walk from both the train station and the city centre. Vivian is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I honestly can’t fault this guest house—highly recommended!

I visited for a one-night stay. It was absolutely perfect from the moment of arrival until I ( eventually ) left --- I had been allowed to leave my bag with them until the departure time of my train. My room was very clean and comfortable. As has been mentioned , air conditioning was most welcome-- albeit unexpected in a guest house. I had not booked breakfast before arrival. The cost obviously was added to the cost of my stay - but represented the best " value for money " which I have ever had. Thank you. My only regret was that I was only there for one night

Stayed here for my daughters graduation from Norwich University of the Arts lovely guest house, my en suite room was great complete with air conditioning, owners we're very welcoming and very helpful a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning, great location 10 minutes walk to Carrow Road Football Stadium for the graduation. It's the second time I have stayed here and would highly recommend. Also close to the station and bus stop for buses into the centre if you don't fancy walking.

Stayed here with friends lovely guest house, room's great complete with air conditioning, owners we're very welcoming and very helpful a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning, lovely building great location for visiting the center close to everywhere great little coffee shop at the top of the road to will stay again definitely.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room a comfy bed, decent hot shower, large TV and delicious cooked breakfast with good coffee. Very clean and welcoming Excellent value for money and great location for station too. Would stay there again.

Stayed here for two nights,very good value for money,excellent breakfast and our host could not do enough for us,the main reason we chose the Abbey Guest hose was the short walk to the station,would stay again definitely.

A kind and welcoming couple, Vivian and Sean, run a fantastic guest house: wonderful hosts, an immaculately clean and well kept house, throughout, excellent facilities and a great night's sleep. Having stayed at several other places in town, I refuse to stay at any others.

The Abbey Guest House is a traditional establishment with some modern touches offering value-for-money accommodation on the outskirts of the city. The welcome was very nice and friendly. The compact single room was well appointed with a comfortable bed, large flat screen modern television, excellent Wi-Fi, and real surprise air conditioning. The shared bathroom was very compact, it was clean, but you could really move that easily. Location is good for the railway station, yet you are a bus or taxi ride from the centre of the city and all the attractions that it presents. The street is not the most welcoming and might be an issue for some, given the rundown nature of some of the properties and the dog sh#t on the paths.
