The only redeeming features of this hotel are the cleanliness of the room and the well?maintained public areas, including the pools. These are the sole reasons this review is not rated even lower. Beyond that, it is impossible to understand how this property is classified as four stars. The food throughout our stay has been consistently unacceptable. Breakfast and lunch in the so?called “premium area” were just about tolerable, but dinner has been an outright disgrace—overcooked, flavourless, poorly presented dishes that bear no resemblance to quality dining. We still have three more days to endure, and frankly, the in?flight meal on our Jet2 flight was of a higher standard than anything served here. The à la carte Italian restaurant was equally appalling, offering tasteless, overcooked, and unrecognisable food. We invested a considerable amount of money to stay here, and the experience has been deeply disappointing. The location is far from ideal as well. It takes a minimum of 20–30 minutes on foot to reach Playa Blanca, and although a shuttle service is available at limited times, there is absolutely nothing of interest in the immediate vicinity beyond the hotel itself. We specifically booked the adults?only premium all?inclusive package, which has been entirely misrepresented. Not only are the drinks limited to cheap local brands, but hygiene is also a serious concern. Crockery in the adults?only areas is frequently dirty, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to offer a premium experience.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Weather was very hit and miss. Been to Lanzarote a lot of times in January so this rainy weather was a shock. But not the hotels fault. We stayed in the premium suites. Our room was very nice and bottled water every day was great The staff here were extremely friendly. We never really used to the pool and pool bar that is exclusive to premium suites due to the rainy weather. Not much shelter there from the rain. We stayed around the other pool which enabled you to shelter in larger pool bar when the rain came in. The only gripe we had was in the adults only restaurant for dinner was it was packed and with await. This was caused by not being able to sit outside due to the weather. Also didn't think the food selection was that great. Breakfast in this restaurant was fine. You also get the use of an adults only bar. The was a singer every night some good some not so good. But we had a good group of people including a group of people on a solos holiday and they were always up dancing. Premium gets you some premium drinks as well. Beefeater Gordon's etc for your gin and tonics. Once the singers ended you could go downstairs to the much larger bar and they had a disco on every night. Never danced so much?? All in all this was a lovely hotel and the staff were fantastic. Would I return- most definitely. Treat yourself and go premium suites. Hopefully the weather in January will be much better next year

First time in Lanzarote and first holiday in January. Weather was a little mixed on our first couple of days but the rain was light and showers short. Stayed in premium suite, it was spotlessly clean, towels changed every other day and bed once during our 7 night visit. Our own patio with seating and loungers was appreciated. Was nervous re food in adult only restaurant due to reading reviews…. No need to worry as food is lovely. We have stayed in many a 4 and 5* hotel and the food at Elba was definitely 4*. There is loads of choice and a particular favourite of ours were the salads, roast joint and daily casserole. This is a fraction of what is on offer. Could sometimes have been a bit warmer but this is the case in the majority of buffet service restaurants. Breakfast was equally good and the fresh orange machine was a real bonus. The grounds are kept immaculately clean and the adult pool area was peaceful with plenty of beds. The pool was a little cool but perfect for a quick dip when it got hot in the afternoon. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Short walk to bars, shops and beach area, slight incline in way back. The hotel puts in a courtesy bus. All in all we have had a fantastic week away and leave feeling a little sad but refreshed and relaxed….. a sign of a good hotel in my books. Would love to return same time next year!

My husband and I spent 5 days in the Elba Premium Suites in September. It was the most relaxing trip we have ever had the accommodation was clean and beautiful with even a choice of pillow type which were so comfortable. The adults only pool area was very peaceful , the pool was freezing but you get ust to it after a minute. We used the spa which was very relaxing and a good price. Food was good and in a lovely setting. Staff everywhere in the hotel could not have been nicer or more helpful Can't wait to get back here again.

Firstly, this is not an adult only hotel, it’s a hotel with adult spaces, pool, restaurant and bars. Having said that it’s an excellent hotel. Food was great, plenty of it and a varied menu changed daily. The adults pool is very relaxing and the staff on the pool bar are brilliant. In fact all the staff are great but special mention must go to Pablo on reception who is brilliant. E has a problem with the keys which he sorted and then came with me to our room to make site everything was ok. Top man. I am a wheelchair user and this hotel was great, everything was accessible and easy to move around. W has an accessible room in the adults only section and it was fantastic. The gardens and grounds are kept lovely. We mainly stayed around the adult only pool but tried the big pool on one occasion and it was fine. No need to save sun beds always plenty to go round. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Me and my husband stayed here for a week and I can honestly say we absolutely loved it. We stayed in the prestige suites adult only area and the room was big enough for both of us. Coffee machine was great , shower was brilliant , bed was super comfy. Shout out to all staff as they were amazing all so helpful and always greeted u when they saw u. The main restaurant caters for all and to be honest they have something for everyone. The adult pool is amazing got a bar and snack bar from 10.30am till 6pm. I would say go down early and get ure sun bed as it’s very busy. Taxis are very quick and cheap depending on where ure going. The beach front has heaps of shops and bars if you get a chance go to the sports bar hubby loved it there . We will be returning next year

I stayed here for 4 nights very recently. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews online but went with an open mind. I had a wonderful time. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller and my first time abroad alone. I loved the adults only areas. The pool was so quiet and relaxing. I found the food good- always warm and a good choice. I can appreciate that it probably does get samey if you’re there for longer however. My room was cleaned daily. The cleaning probably wasn’t perfect but I’m not on 4 in a bed so didn’t mind too much! I would go back again

I spent 4 nights at Elba Premium Suites and honestly, it was the perfect choice. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome. A special mention goes to the bartender at Los Jameos, who always brought great energy and extra good vibes – he really made my evenings more enjoyable. My room was spacious and clean, with a big private terrace where I loved spending time in the sun. It was such a nice alternative to the pool area whenever I just wanted a bit of quiet relaxation. The food was another highlight: plenty of choice, a good mix of local dishes and international options, and everything tasted fresh. I never once had to wait in line for meals or drinks, which was a pleasant surprise after reading some of the reviews. Speaking of reviews – I actually booked my stay before checking them and felt a little nervous when I did. But once I arrived, I realized those worries were unnecessary. None of the negative things I had read matched my own experience at all. If you’re looking for a calm, adults-only escape where you can truly switch off and recharge, I can absolutely recommend this place. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and happy – and I’ve already decided I’ll be coming back next year.
