Lovely staff and decor, but room and bathroom were TINY and pretty uncomfortable for two people to try and stay in. Extremely noisy street outside - were woken at 5am by 2 hours of barrels being loaded into a nearby pub. No room to put a suitcase or even a kettle and pantry provisions were a bit disappointing

The large room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was great and the shower nice and large. The staff I encountered were all excellent and very accommodating especially at check in. I did not eat there

８泊の英国縦断旅行で泊まったホテルのうち、唯一２段ベッド仕様でした。ロンドンのホテルはとにかく高価なので、仕方なく２段ベッドにしました。それ以外はとくに不満はなかったと思います。当ホテルの最大の利点は、パディントン駅から徒歩でほんの数分という立地の良さです。またロンドンに来ることがあれば、まずは同じような料金の３つ星を探してみますが、なければリピートするだろうと思います。

Check in was underwhelming by having to self serve ourselves, the reception area was unclear and difficult to find as it turned out to be people that looked like they were hot-desking. We were able to check in early, which was a bonus. However the room was small! It was labelled a medium but it was small for two adults and limited room to walk around one side of the bed. Good breakfast, however service was very slow. Good location right by Paddington station, which I can see makes the hotel more expensive. However, the hotel costs the same as the Hoxton chain and I feel they offer better value for money

As every other review mentioned: the rooms are TINY but you’re not booking this place for the room - you’re booking it because it’s in a fantastic location. You cannot beat the convenience, walkability, proximity to transportation hubs, restaurants, bars, attractions, etc. plus the property makes up for the size in other great ways: they have a cold water bottle filling station, the body products are lovely, the property is beautiful, and the bed is comfortable.

There is no proper reception counter, only 1 staff stationed at the lobby on his/her laptop. Had to fill up a couple of information online prior to check in. They were really kind in allowing us to check in early before 3pm as our room was ready. Service was okay, staff were helpful but not overly friendly as most reviews have indicated. The room only had 1 small side table on each side of the bed which was insufficient for my partner and I for putting our things - e.g. bags, toiletries. Room was barely big enough for us to open our medium sized luggages. Overall and okay stay, would recommend if you’re just looking for a convenient short stay as location is unbeatable right next to Paddington train station and Bakerloo line. It is also on the Elizabeth line which goes to Heathrow airport.

The location is convenient if you're rushing to/from paddington but not suitable for light sleepers/ noise sensitive people. I requested for a quiet room in my booking and somehow got a room facing the main street, right above a bar. I wasn't able to sleep in the two nights that I stayed as there were drunk people hollering and shouting downstairs. In my first night, I asked for a room change and they were unable to accommodate. I then asked to cancel my booking for a refund and they said I couldn't since I booked through trip.com. They also said that was a quiet room already and offered me ear plugs - which I already have. They even implied that I should've read the hotel reviews more clearly since their location above a bar, hence the noise, is quite apparent. So here I am leaving an explicit review for potential guests - DO NOT STAY HERE if you value a good night's rest. Plenty of other options in zone 1 for this price (or for the same noise level, consider a hostel). The room is also tiny, which I'm sure the other reviews also cover, and there's no storage space for a light traveler like me (one cabin size luggage).

The staff made the experience as they were all friendly, helpful, warm and professional. I would have scored all 5/5 if there was a kettle in the room - thats all i was missing, otherwise it was a great stay and i will return.

This is a really cool little hotel right next to Paddington Station. It’s a little confusing finding your correct room, but once you have located your it there’s usually a cute little pantry next-door with coffee and tea. 24 hours a day. The breakfast is really good and the coffee is excellent. I will happily stay here again. ??
